Our 30-year History
Carolina Cipher has been helping small to midsize growth oriented companies implement successful business management software solutions for over thirty years.
Since our founding in 1977, we have provided expert consulting to firms implementing business managemeht software systems throughout the Southeast. We have helped hundreds of customers in manufacturing, distribution, service and numerous other industries improve their business processes and increase profitability. Following are a few of our historic milestones:
In 1984 we became the first SouthWare dealer in the nation and we have been selling and supporting SouthWare products ever since.
In 1989 we developed the KeyMan manufacturing package which runs with SouthWare accounting
In 1990 we were accredited as a IBM Value Added Reseller
In 1992 we were awarded a U.S. patent for a unique MRP system
In 2003 we acquired Business Software, Inc, a Kernersville North Carolina software company. We continue to support our BSI customers.
In 2007, Carolina Cipher became a certified SAP Business One Channel partner.
In 2009, we released an SAP Business One Partner Product which runs seamlessly with the core package.
We believe SAP Business One is the best software solution available for the broadest range of small to midsize companies worldwide. We have qualified as a Silver-level SAP Channel Partner and have earned seven SAP certifications. In addition, our consultants engage in a continuing education and certification program to maintain and enhance our skills. Combined with our years of experience in consulting, we are in a unique position to assist you with your SAP Business One implementation.
Meet our Owners
Allen Rembert – Founder and President of Carolina Cipher. Allen is responsible for overall company management as well as sales and marketing. He has been involved in implementation of business management systems for numerous manufacturing and distribution companies. He has earned the CPIM certification from APICS, the American Production and Inventory Control Society, and is a graduate Professional Engineer.
Barry Alexander – Co-founder and Vice President of Carolina Cipher. He manages our implementation consulting team and is responsible for customer implementations. He specializes in solutions for manufacturing firms and also has earned his CPIM certification from APICS.
